Diamonds are the most beautiful and the most expensive of all gemstones, which is very natural, considering the fact that nothing can match the glittering, sparkling glory of an original diamond. Artificial diamonds, on the other hand, come in the form of simulant diamonds and are poles apart from mined diamonds, though both exhibit the same chemical properties. The difference between artificial diamonds and original diamonds is not visible to the naked eye and will have to be tested through several phases to tell the difference.

The artificial diamonds that have been flooding the market of late are actually very tasteful gemstones that glitter very much like natural diamonds and are far easier to obtain. The best part about artificial diamonds is the fact that they also do not fade away or develop a yellowish tinge with the passage of time. Artificial diamonds can certainly retain their original color and very rarely show sings of decay, which again depends on their make. In fact, artificial diamonds are much better than original diamonds because, increasing incidents of robbery and burglary have led people to think twice about purchasing natural diamonds. After all, there is absolutely no point in purchasing diamond jewellery, if it is only to stow them away in a safe deposit box without even experiencing the luxury of wearing them.

It can hence be said that artificial diamonds are most certainly worth the money, by all means. Artificial diamonds cost you just one-tenth of original diamonds and are certainly not worth risking your life over. Because, heavy jewelry will always have to be worn with extreme caution and there is always the danger of attracting the wrong kind of people who would not think twice about taking your life, just for the jewels. Therefore my friends, our advice is to stick to artificial diamonds, and live to tell the tale!
